John Kennedy - New Brazilian Jiu-jitsu black belt!

I just wanted to congratulate my student and friend John Kennedy who I promoted to BJJ Black belt tonight.
The black belt was given by me with the approval of my instructor Mauricio Gomes. John has been involved in the BJJ scene in the UK since the beginning and is an excellent grappler both with and without the GI.
After so many years of training together it was a privilege for me to be able to award him the Faxa Preta.
Congratulations again John and I hope we are blessed with many more years of training together.

Christmas season is upon us!

We just wanted to thank all the students new and old who have trained with us in the last year. The academy is going from strength to strength and both Claire and I are very excited about next year.

A huge thank you also to everyone who is on the teaching staff, John Kennedy, Keith Porter, Scott McKail, Alan Mccune, Colin Heddle and Johnny Martin.

We truly wish everyone a meaningful, peaceful and happy Christmas and wonderful New Year.

Christmas holidays

Our last classes will be on Friday December 23^rd and we return on Monday January 9th.

New Brazilian Jiu- Jitsu classes

We have just added a Saturday morning BJJ class to our timetable. It runs from 1100am - 12-00pm and is open to all levels. We will also be starting a Tuesday afternoon class from January 17^th. It will run from 12-30 – 1330 and is also open to all levels.
